What

KAPiNED/10 is a conference of people interested in kite aerial photography (KAP), be they newbie or old pro. KAP is launching a kite, attaching a photo or video camera to the line and taking images from the air.

KAPiNED/10's program has been designed to facilitate the sharing of information and ideas, to stimulate thought and to provide ample opportunity for practicing the craft of KAP.

IT'S OVER

KAPiNED/10 has taken inspiration from the successful KAPiCA/06 event and has a similar setup. Two days and the evenings will be used for presentations, discussions and building equipment that is needed. Two days will be used for kite flying and taking pictures, weather permitting. A full program will come available later. Note that the program can be changed during the conference depending on the weather.

The presentations will be held by the participants. Every participant is asked to give a short presentation on a topic that has to do with KAP. This can be anything. From kite flying to photo editing, from how to wind kite line to electronics, from batteries to KAP for archeology. Anything. The program will therefore be compiled once the participants are known and have indicated what they want to present.

Partner Program
If there are sufficient partners that are interested in a partner program, such a program can be organised. However there is also lot that can be done on your own or with others that you meet. Most cities, musea and flower gardens can be reached by public transport. And you can also go for a bike or hike tour starting from the hostel (there are bikes for rent).
